The reason we have laws are sometimes to protect us from ourselves, do you really want to kill somebody, I know I don’t, that’s what seperates me from the likes of Dale Cregan. I do however think we should spend less on looking after people like him, lock him up 24 hours a day, lets see how long he lasts.

I am good friend of jahnel faure and I can assure u he is not monster people are making out who knows real reason behind this incident nobody!! Only those involved and gang member lool that’s funny known him years not everybody from Birmingham or west Brom are Gang members. I don’t condone what happened but won’t let people paint people out in pictures over 1 incident. And if that lad was stealing doesn’t mean he should die bit extreme! But suppose people react differently to myself. But jahnel is a genuine caring guy and I know him well had him in my home and spent lot time in his company so j beg people don’t paint a picture of something he is not and as for been 15 stone lol now that is a joke unless last time I saw him he ate nuff McDonald’s but I recall him been medium build but more on skinny side but size is irrelevant I just want defend a friends character. Nuff love jahnel babes x x rip to the lad in question

This is purely an attempt by the Government to win votes and to once again reinvent the wheel.

The Central Discharged Prisoners’ Aid Society (Incorporated) was formed in December 1924. It was renamed the National Association of Discharged Prisoners’ Aid Societies (Incorporated) in October 1960, and the National Association for the Care and Resettlement of Offenders (NACRO) in March 1966. It developed into the biggest criminal justice-related charity in England and Wales and in the 1970s and 1980s it became involved in policy discussions with the British Government, particularly with the Home Office, which has responsibility for prisons and probation services. Since 2011, its strategy has focused on extending its high-level influence at government level, with commissioners, policy makers and practitioners, and increasing its partnership work.

If the work of NACRO and other similar charities are thoroughly audited, then systemic failures will be revealed and it will be clear that the main driving force in any private sector organisation is to make money and produce new projects to justify their existence. Such organisations are bureaucratically top heavy and expensive to run. Money is seriously wasted and those providing direct support to ex-prisoners are stretched to the limit.

, This idea is a complete charade and it will prove to be a very expensive waste of taxpayers money that will result in a further risk to public protection.

The indeterminate sentence for public protection (IPP) has no date of release no light at the end of the tunnel,,brought out in 2005 to keep peodophiles rapist and terrorist in prison for a very long time, but judges were dishing out like candy to thousands that committed far less serious crimes than the above. The government realised this and abolished the IPP on 3rd Dec 2012, but did not abolish retrospectively. There are IPP prisoners that were sentenced to as little as 12 weeks by the court but because IPP was added are still in prison upto 8 years later and still counting the years,, This IPP is babaric and inhumane both for the prisoner and the families never knowing if or ever their loved ones will be freed,, Please look up and reserch the IPP sentence before leaving a comment on here,

As a society we seem to forget that the punishment is the loss of liberty, the freedom to do what we choose.

As we all know in many prisons it’s very hard for prisoners to get work. How many times have we heard them say “it’s 23 hour bang up” in here!.

What are they suppose to do locked in a cell all day. If it was left to the daily mail readership they would all be chained up on the walls.
